The Real Reason They Didn’t Hire You

The Real Reason They Didn’t Hire You is for my entirely-unrelated-to-parenting blog posts that are related to my years in HR and recruiting. There truly seems to a be a shortage of frank, direct, and honest career advice for job-seekers and for those currently employed. It is my humble hope that this may assist someone out there in figuring out the system and securing him or herself a job. This seems like as good an opportunity as any to include my disclaimer:

Any and all views expressed in this blog are solely my opinions and do not in any way reflect or represent the views of my employer, my spouse, my family, and because I am one of those really unusual INFPs on the Myers-Briggs… probably do not reflect the views of at least 95% of the world population.

Thus if you ever take my career advice and it is not successful for you (or worse, if you unfathomably take my snark, sarcasm, and smartassery seriously and get fired for it), you are not allowed to sue me!

With that said, if there is an unemployed loved one in your life whom you suspect may benefit from some frank, unsolicited, and statistically-as-yet-unvalidated career advice, please feel free to share. With that said, best of luck!
